PJ2HQ

July 2003

This operation was the first known Netherlands Antilles IARU member society headquarters operation. The PJ2HQ 2003 IARU contest operation was a joint effort between VERONA (Vereniging voor Experimenteel Radio Onderzoek Nederlansen Antillen) and CCC (Caribbean Contesting Consortium). Amateurs from Cucaçao and the United States combined forces at the PJ2T station to provide the VERONA multiplier and to offer a training opportunity for PJ2 operators new to contesting. In addition to the contest operation, we enjoyed an Open House luncheon on Saturday during the contest for local XYLs, our PJ2T neighbors, and invited officials of Bureau Telecommunicatie.

Operator List: PJ2BR, PJ2EP, PJ2VR, PJ2MN, PJ2MR, PJ2WOL, PJ2BVU, PJ2CFM, PJ2JW, K9SG, K4LT, W0CG.
