Brett Ruiz, PJ2BR, President of the VERONA (Curacao) Amateur Radio Club chatting with Cindy, W0CG's XYL as K4LT runs contest QSOs behind him on 20 CW. Doug, K4LT, running high rates on 20 CW at the beginning of the third hour of the contest. Notice the Writelog windows on his Station #1 PC.
PJ2BR running on 15 meter SSB with Gary, K9SG providing a second set of ears for the pileup. Here's part of the feast provided by Cindy during the CCC/VERONA open house Saturday afternoon during the IARU 2003 contest.
Juni, PJ2AA, Doug, K4LT, and Brett, PJ2BR chowing down at lunchtime while others were running Qs on 10, 15, and 20 meters. Etzel, PJ2EP, Brett, PJ2BR, and Martin (PJ2MR, standing) team up at the 15 meter SSB position to assist Etzel in getting the hang of high-rate contesting.
Gary, K9SG (back to the camera) working 20 SSB with Erwin, PJ2WOL. Erwin quickly adapted and did a superb job, contributing markedly to the overall PJ2HQ score. This is Jean-Claude, PJ2BVU, doing a superb job of working what little was available on 10 meter SSB, at the PJ2T Station # 4 position.
Left to Right: K4LT at # 2 running 15 CW, Jean-Claude (PJ2BVU) on 10, and PJ2WOL in the background operating 20 SSB. The four computers networked perfectly using Writelog and the Ethernet. Here you see Nal, PJ2MN observing while Victor, PJ2VR, runs on 20 SSB. Victor is famous as the LandsRadio liaison officer for the PJ9W Radioteam Finland operation of 1990. Victor is still employed at Bureau Telecommunicatie.
