Installing the USB Driver
This will install a VCP (Virtual Com Port) driver. Go to http://asgard.kent.edu/ccc/winkeyer/Windows_98_Installation_Guide.pdf or to http://asgard.kent.edu/ccc/winkeyer/Windows_XP_Installation_Guide.pdf and then directly to Section 2.2, Installing VCP Driver. Follow the instructions. The files are on the Winkeyer CD in the blue bins, or are on the PJ2T Standard Software CD, or can be downloaded from below into a C:/ folder. Or they can be downloaded from www.ftdichip.com for device type FT232BM. Photo of adapter cables, 31 August 2007.
