VP5VW QSL 
 
This was the qsl card (front) that we used for the 1994 CQWW CW operation. Left-right

W9VW Hal Brooks  VP5VW was a special operation in the memory of legendary DXer and contester Hal Brooks, W9VW. Hal was largely responsible for saving the CQWW contest from extinction after WWII. He was a mentor to some of us and an example of first class operating to all of us. 
 
VP5VW - Providenciales, Turks & Caicos

K8RF, WA4DRU, K8MFO, W8AV, W6RGG, W0CG, W9VNE, K4LT. 

Equipment: 
4-TS930's, 1-TS940, 2-SB220's, 1-SB200, 1-MLA2500, 1-ALPHA 78, Logikey Model K-1 Keyers. 

Antennas: 
160 - 1/2 wave delta loop, dipole 80 - dipole, hytower 40 - 2 element Cushcraft 20 - Cushcraft A4 15 - Mosley Pro 67 10 - 4 element monobander. 

We were a multi operator, multi transmitter entry in the CQWW contest. Our totals were about 11,800 qsos and 22 million points in this 48 hour period.
