Bought by W0CG and shipped to Idaho. Configured 12 April by W0CG with WL 10.85, Keyspan USB-COM port drivers, and Windows 7 Winkey drivers. Works fine networked with Vista laptop in Idaho prototyping. See here (and below) for the setup procedure. Will be transported to Curacao June 8 by K8LEE. Will be UPS shipped to K8LEE.

Install Writelog 10.80. Reg code is in Writelog Tips/writelog.directions at the bottom. It's necessary to explicitly install to C:/Writelog rather than take the defaults.
Explicitly create folder C:/Writelog/Contest
Install Writelog 10.85 or whatever is preferred.
Paste WL icon to desktop.

Create folder C:/KeyspanUSBAdapter
Copy from Keyspan CD Adobe documentation file into the above folder.
Do not plug in the Keyspan adapter. Start the install from the "Windows Drivers" section of the CD. Bypass (Close) the automatic get of the driver from Windows Update and allow install to complete.
Plug in Keyspan adapter.
Run "Keyspan Serial Assistant" from the Start Menu and note which COM port was assigned.

Plug in Winkeyer.
If driver install starts automatically, browse to drivers in C:/Winkey/CDM20814_WHQL_Certified. Or get it from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX,htm and get the 64 bit 2.08.12 file.
Otherwise
Start, Control Panel, View Devices and Printers, USB<-> Serial, Properties, Hardware, Update Driver and browse to C:/Winkey/CDM20814_WHQL_Certified and then determine the correct port assignment afterward.

Failed during WPX SSB Sunday afternoon. Reseated memory and cycled all plugs and it worked OK April 1.

W9NJY worked on it in September and declared it dead, parts only.

N0YY was able to get signs of life, but front panel has orange light and fans will not come on. We will research further.

Same problem - get orange light but nothing comes on. Sounds like power supply problem.

Same as above. There is some good troubleshooting guidance online -- we should try this when time permits. Meanwhile this is a parts computer.
