K8MFO and K8ND, near suicide, untangling a 1000 foot roll of antenna rope prior to CQWW.

Geoff, W0CG, using brute-force techniques to remove a bad rotor. The hardware was completely frozen and had to be drilled out.

On break from contest preparations, here's the view Wednesday afternoon in downtown Willemstad.

Cindy Howard
Here's the most important and by far most appreciated member of the PJ2T team, Cindy, whipping up dinner for the crew.

It never rains in Curacao. This is December 2, 2003, on which day we had 6 inches of rain -- almost a quarter of the annual rainfall came down in one day that day.

The Dirty Work
An example of the behind the scenes work of keeping PJ2T viable. Cindy is redoing the East bedroom in a rush on the morning of 2 December in preparation for the arrival of W9AEB and crew. Two hours later she was in an airplane headed back to the States.

S50R and Ann Marie, owner of Habitat Curacao dive resort, prior to one of Leo's SCUBA dives.

More Dog Work
This is S50R after he and W0CG had just bought all this conduit for the terrace construction project at PJ2T.

S50R

W0CG caught S50R and K8ND looking like a couple of divine radio gods in the mist inside Boka Tabla caves.

S50R and K8ND after the contest at Boka Tabla.

S50R in the check-in line for departure. Piece of cake: he was about to fly to Amsterdam, change planes and fly to Venice, retrieve his car from the airport lot in Venice, and then drive the rest of the way home to Slovenia. A 24 hour trip.

This beautful KLM 747 is S50R's ride back to Europe.
